Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Virtuse, our partner hub, security, fees, and how to get started — in plain language.

About Virtuse
What is Virtuse?
Virtuse is the world's first hub for Bitcoin-only services. Founded in 2018 and Bitcoin-only since 2022, we connect investors with vetted, regulated partners for everything Bitcoin — buying, mining, borrowing, custody, treasury, tax, and automation. Virtuse Group Pte. Ltd. is anchored in Singapore, with an operational office in Bratislava, serving clients in over 100 countries.
Is Virtuse an exchange?
No. Virtuse doesn't operate an exchange, hold your funds, or take custody of your Bitcoin. We are a curation and access layer: we vet the best licensed providers in each category and connect you directly to them.
Why Bitcoin only?
We believe Bitcoin is the only digital asset suited for building and protecting generational wealth. A Bitcoin-only focus means fiduciary alignment, regulatory simplicity, and deep expertise — no altcoin distractions.
Our Hub Services
What services can I access through Virtuse?
Eight categories, each with hand-picked partners: Buy Bitcoin (MiCA-licensed CASPs like 21bitcoin, Kraken, and ByBit EU), Mining (hosted mining with OneMiners, Abundant Mines, Power Mining), Loans (Bitcoin-backed borrowing via Firefish — keep your BTC, get cash), Custody (Trezor and Ledger hardware wallets), Treasury (institutional custody with Coinbase Institutional, Sygnum, BitGo), Tax (Divly, Blockpit, CoinTracking), Trading Bots (Coinrule, Cryptohopper, RevenueBot), plus free Bitcoin Data tools — live dashboard, retirement calculator, rainbow chart, and more.
How does the hub work?
Three steps: pick a service, compare our vetted partners side by side, and click through to the partner's regulated platform. Everything after that — account, verification, transactions — happens directly with the partner. Your Bitcoin stays under your control.
How do you choose partners?
We prioritize EU licensing (MiCA/MiCAR where applicable), security track record, Bitcoin-friendliness, and fair fees. Partners that don't meet the bar don't get listed.
Security
Does Virtuse ever hold my Bitcoin or my keys?
Never. Virtuse holds no funds, no keys, and no client data. All transactions execute on regulated partner platforms, and we encourage self-custody as the end state for your coins.
How should I store my Bitcoin?
For long-term holdings we recommend hardware wallets from our custody partners — Trezor (open-source, made in the EU) or Ledger (Secure Element chip, 7M+ devices sold). Your keys are generated offline and never leave the device. Larger holdings and corporate treasuries can use institutional-grade custody via our Treasury partners.
Are the partners regulated?
Buying partners are MiCA/MiCAR-licensed EU crypto-asset service providers — for example Kraken via the Central Bank of Ireland, and ByBit EU and 21bitcoin via the Austrian FMA. Treasury partners include regulated institutions like Sygnum (Swiss banking licence) and BitGo.
Fees
What does Virtuse charge?
Nothing. Browsing, comparing, and clicking through to partners is free. Virtuse earns a referral fee from partners when you sign up — at no extra cost to you. You never pay more by coming through Virtuse.
What fees will I pay at partners?
Each partner sets its own pricing — examples currently listed: Kraken Pro trading from 0.16%, ByBit EU spot from 0.1%, 21bitcoin Auto-Invest savings plans with 0% fees, mining hosting from ~$0.043/kWh, and tax tools from €39/year (CoinTracking has a free tier up to 200 transactions). Always confirm current pricing on the partner's site.
Trading
Can I trade on Virtuse?
Trading happens on our partners' platforms, not on Virtuse. For spot buying and selling, use a Buy Bitcoin partner. For automated strategies (DCA, grid, rebalancing), our Bots partners connect to your exchange account via API keys — non-custodial, so the bot never holds your coins.
Do you support altcoin trading?
No. Virtuse curates Bitcoin services only. Some partners offer other assets on their own platforms, but our focus and recommendations are strictly Bitcoin.
Deposits
How do I deposit money to buy Bitcoin?
Directly on the partner platform you choose — typically via SEPA bank transfer or card with EU partners like 21bitcoin, Kraken, or ByBit EU. Virtuse never receives or processes your money.
Can I set up recurring purchases?
Yes — partners like 21bitcoin offer automated savings plans (DCA) with zero fees, and exchanges like Kraken support recurring buys.
Withdrawals
How do I withdraw my Bitcoin?
From the partner platform to any wallet address you control — we recommend withdrawing to your own hardware wallet for long-term holdings. Miners receive rewards paid out daily, directly to a wallet address they control at all times.
Are there withdrawal limits or fees?
These are set by each partner and vary by platform, verification level, and network conditions. Check the partner's current terms; Virtuse adds nothing on top.
KYC & Verification
Does Virtuse require KYC?
No — because Virtuse never touches your funds, there's nothing to verify with us. Identity verification happens once, on the regulated partner platform where you transact.
What will partners ask for?
Licensed EU CASPs follow MiCA and AML rules: typically a government ID and proof of address, occasionally source-of-funds for larger amounts. Requirements vary by partner and country.
Are there services without KYC?
Yes — tools that never touch your money don't need it: hardware wallets (Trezor, Ledger), tax software (Divly is explicitly privacy-first with no KYC), and all our free Bitcoin Data tools work without any account at all.
